Press Release: Announcing the New Officers and Directors of the Chapter for 2008-2009 About Us: The membership of the NACD-Colorado Chapter includes individuals holding corporate director positions and senior executive positions with public, private and non-profit companies throughout the state of Colorado. We are part of the National Association of Corporate Directors, which consists of over 10,000 members.
The National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD), www.nacdonline.org, is the premier national educational, publishing and consulting organization in board leadership and the only membership association for boards, directors, director-candidates and board advisors. As a non-profit, 501(c)(3) corporation, NACD promotes high professional standards for board and director conduct, practice, and performance, creates forums for peer interaction, enhances director effectiveness, asserts the policy interests of directors, conducts research, and educates boards and directors concerning traditional and cutting-edge issues. The global mission of NACD chapters is to fulfill the national mission and vision of the NACD on the local level. That is, to improve corporate governance performance through better board practice by providing regional forums for educational programming and peer-to-peer level interaction for corporate directors and chief executives.
